Introduction
Following a referral from the Local Authority, a flexible support package was designed around the individuals needs and personal preferences.
Our recruitment, bookings and compliance teams carefully selected experienced support workers who could provide consistent, high-quality care whilst building a trusting relationship with both the individual and their family.
The primary objective was to enable the individual to continue living safely at home, maintain independence wherever possible and provide essential respite for their partner in their caring role.
Care Package Overview
The individual required 1:1 support with daily living activities, overnight care and ongoing reassurance to remain comfortable and safe within their own home.
Our experienced team delivered care focused on maintaining established routines, encouraging independence and promoting dignity at every stage. By working collaboratively with the wider care team and family, we ensured support remained responsive to changing needs.
Over time, consistent staffing and compassionate care enabled strong relationships to develop, improving confidence, wellbeing and quality of life for both the individual and their husband.
The Outcome
This package continues to provide valuable support that enables the individual to remain living in familiar surroundings, while giving their husband regular opportunities to rest and recharge from his caring responsibilities.
